Creating a thrilling story is like crafting a roller coaster ride. You want your readers to feel every twist and turn, every moment of suspense. One of the most crucial elements in achieving this is the characters. Today, I am excited to introduce you to the newest character in my thriller series. This character is not just a plot device; they are a vital part of the story that will keep readers on the edge of their seats.
Let’s dive into who this character is, their background, and how they fit into the larger narrative.
Introducing Dan Luger
Meet Dan Luger, a former special services army hero and now a successful businessman. Dan is in his late forties, married with two children and has an extremely flourishing chain of high class restaurants and bars throughout London. He stands at 6.3" tall with a muscular body and salt and pepper hair, sharp blue eyes that seem to miss nothing, and a demeanor that can be both charming and intimidating.
His backstory is rich and complex. Luger had a privileged up bringing, coming from British gentry he chose the army as his career where he excelled. The Army boxing champion, army rugby captain and voted best cadet he was always destined for great things. After a stint with the Special Forces he was given charge of an elite fighting squad that were deployed on many covert and top secret operations across war zones throughout the world.
On the sudden death of his parents he retired from the army and set up his restaurant business. His old colleagues retired with him and all worked for him in some capacity. They were a tight group, and had a lethal royalty to Luger and each other.
Then one day, one of his team was murdered.
The first book in the series is a high octane tale of revenge, the criminal underworld and violent gang warfare in central London. An absolute page turner with a complex and engaging plot with action-packed scenes and a constant tense narrative and will keep the reader enthralled and entertained until the last page.

The Future of the Series
As I continue to write, I have exciting plans for Luger and the series.
For now I will say no more other than there will be more breathtaking books to come.
